Mogao Grottoes, commonly known as Qianfo Caves, are located in Dunhuang city, Gansu Province. It was first built in the pre-Qin period (366). Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes is the largest and oldest Buddhist cave temple in China, it is also the most comprehensive, exquisite Buddhist art treasure house in the world.
